So how's this blog work?

Just checking in with you all.

Are we still blogging about our healthy lifestyle journey?

I've lost 5.4 lbs. in 3 weeks on Weight Watchers. I've been going to the gym 5 days a week and doing yoga and running long runs on the weekend. I feel great! I'd like to lose about 15 more pounds and I think I'm feeling like its totally doable.

I'm working with weights again. Muscle memory is amazing.

How's everyone else?

WAY TO GO ON THE WEIGHT LOSS!!!

That's excellent - and the workouts are key. I have yet to get into the yoga, but I really want to. Hoping to get some in on our trip.

For me, I'm down to 142 and I think I'm gonna go for another 8-10 lbs of fat. My measurements have made QUITE a change since september when I last took them. Which was good to see - I wasn't sure my body had changed at all, but it has significantly especially in the waist, hips, back and thighs. So that's very cool.

I ran 4.5 miles at the gym today doing interval sessions and burned 500 calories - the less I weigh, the more work it takes to burn those calories! Lisa I'm sure you have been feeling that forever. :-)

I totally think you can lose 15lbs by May no problem. And you may find that with all the exercise, your number changes - you may put on some lean muscle as well as take off some fat.

I am working on building lean muscle too - I find I am prone to skinnyness but not muscularness. So I'm working to make sure I am not losing muscle as I lose weight. Fun stuff.
